New Washington State Law Makes Cameras for Ignition Interlock Devices Mandatory
As of the first of the year, Washington State will now be using cameras with their ignitions interlock devices. Interlock devices are a way to ensure that those who have had a DUI can continue to drive legally, safe, and sober after their conviction. A new law requires that cameras will accompany the interlock devices, so that a picture is taken of the driver every time the machine is used to ensure they are not having someone else blow for them illegally.
